I really tried to listen to this show, and I'm with Cliff. Second set features a lethargic, uninspired He's Gone. (gulp) Any show with CC Rider, Satisfaction (!) and Might as Well.... might as well NOT.

This show's not fresh in my mind, but unclejohn52's post reminds me of something that always bugs me about 80s shows. I love Bob and his guitar work, but I really get put off when he injects those "y'all"s into The Other One:

"comin' around y'all". I'm not sure what made him want to start doing that.

But I do like Might as Well in any form!

One of my pet peeves too, some really lazy vocals. Especially hate "waits backstage while I sing to you, y'all." Not real keen on the strained, high pitched monkey screams either.

Awwwwww ... don't like the monkey screams? I always saw that as just a part of Bob's goofy Bob-ness. Seems to me he must have enjoyed them so much, and worked so hard to master the perfect howler, that the least we could do was be happy for him when he got off a good HYAH.

LOL. That and Sweet Jane and her sex change. Funny the first 10 times. OK, maybe funny the first five ... or three ... On Other One y'alls, I guess he justed wanted to do a cowboy Other One. Better than the later Other Ones with the Darth Vader-and-the-chipmunk sound effects, at least.
